It was so much fun to surprise the kids that we were going to Disney for a week. They had no clue and it turned out to be a wonderful Christmas gift! We had so much fun, despite the very cold weather. I don't know if the kids have ever been so bundled up, but we did have at least one day of warm weather.

Ella's Sewing!
My big girl got her first sewing machine for Christmas and has been asking me EVERYDAY if we can open it. Well, I took the plunge today and we got started. She has seen me sew on a couple of occassions and has always been really interested in it, so I think/hope she'll like it.
Anyhoo- it took me a while to figure out how the machine works (their is NO bobbin) and we are still trying to get the tension right. Once I got it 'good enough' I let her go to town. She started sewing lines and circles and squares. She worked until her spool ran out of thread! She may be my accomplice on my next sewing project!

It's time to overload you with pictures and posts!
Seeing as how I haven't uploaded any pictures or written any posts since before Thanksgiving, consider this your warning that you are about to be BOMBARDED by pictures and posts the next couple of days as I try to catch up. There, whew, you've been warned. Now, onto the pictures...
These pictures were taken at our church the night the children's choirs sang. Ella and Brett are in different choir classes, and each class sang a Christmas song. It was so sweet! It was on a Sunday night and we had had a whirl-wind of a weekend. I still can't believe we made it there, and on time too!
