Progressive Scrapbook Layout & Ribbon Share

I have some exciting news I want to tell you about my new ribbon share, but first I want you to see a progressive scrapbook layout. I started with a 6x6 page. (For these pages, I used Summer Picnic designer paper, die cut blooms, Bashful Blue, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive paper.)

We made the 6x6 page at my last day crop (the next one will most likely be in Sept.) and I wanted to show the ladies how you can turn this page into an 8 1/2 x 11 or a 12x12 page. I matted the 6x6 page on Real Red paper and then on Old Olive. Then it was placed on Pumpkin Pie paper and I added Real Red and Bashful Blue grosgrain ribbon.
To make this a 12x12 page, I placed my 8 1/2x11 page onto a 12x12 sheet of Real Red. I then used one of my favorite techniques- tearing paper. I tore a small 12 inch strip of Bashful Blue and placed this at the top. I'm still not sure this page is completely done. I would like to put something at the top- maybe a title? journaling? tags? What do you think?

Next time you go to a crop or a make-n-take at you local scrapbook store, you will now know how to convert that smaller page into any size page you would like so it can be used in your scrapbooks. This can also be done with card fronts. Now...onto the Ribbon Share!!
