My how my little girl has grown! It's so hard for me to grasp the whole big school thing. I think she's still a baby, but look at her! She's almost 5! Where did the time go? I took this photo of her before preschool this morning. I'm trying to take a picture on the first day of school and the last day of school so I can see how much each of my children has grown over the school year. Anyway, Ella was excited to take her My Little Pony to school to show her friends and then she also is holding a card she made for a friend- I just don't know where she gets this card making thing from.. hmmmm...So, our summer is finally here. The kids are already asking when we are going to go to the beach and we don't have a trip planned until Aug- this is going to make for a very long summer. Not to self- plan a short beach trip ASAP!

These are 2 cards I was able to make at my crop I held recently. Don't worry if you weren't able to come, I'll be holding another one in Sept. I made these cards pretty simple and to mail out Luke's 3 month pictures, so some of you may have already seen these because they arrived in your mailbox! I used Not Quite Navy cardstock and Apricot Appeal designer paper from the Level 1 hostess paper pack. The stamps I used are : For a Friend (Level 1 hostess), Spring Solitude (level 2 hostess), and Friendship Bloom (Sale-A-Bration catty).

I just had to share this picture from today. A friend of mine was brave enough to have Ella and some other preschool classmates over after school got out today (and their siblings too!). We ate lunch and then the kids played outside on the playground, in the pool (which they are standing on- after they let all the water out!) and ran around like crazy! It was alot of fun and it was very hot- the high for today is 95. OUCH! I hope you are all off to a great start for this summer. So far our's has been filled with many fights between Ella and Brett and me praying for patience. Lord give me strength!
