Well, we finally got to go to Nivens' Farm today. I love going there! They have a great play area for the kids, apple orchards, pumpkin patches, livestock, a corn maze, hayrides and more. It really is alot of fun. We made it a family outing and went in search of the perfect pumpkin. (More about that tomorrow) When we were paying for our pumpkins and apples, I think Ella talked here daddy into buying some candy apples for her and Brett. It was agony for them because I wouldn't let them eat them until we got home and changed shirts. Brett was asking for his the moment we walked in the door so we hurried to change his shirt and 5 minutes later he looked like this....

Thank goodness I changed his clothes! The funny thing is that it got worse. By the time he was done, there was hardly a speck of white on his little face. The palms of his hands are tinted red too. Ella didn't make much of a mess, but she did come running into my room to inform me that it was ok to eat these because they had apples in them and that made them healthy. You gotta love a gal with that kind of rationalization.
