Pumpkin Carving

In keeping with our Halloween tradition, we had our annual pumpkin carving on our back porch. And just like any good parents do, we waited until the last minute- the night before Halloween to do it! oops! Isn't it amazing how time just slips away? It was pretty cold outside, so Luke and I didn't last long and I had to take him in early. Michael later reported to me that this was the pumpkin carving from...well....HE double hockey sticks. He had a hard time keeping Ella and Brett's hands away from the pumpkins while he was cutting. He later called Luke and me outside to see the finished product and I must say that Ella and Brett were beaming with excitment about their newly carved pumpkins. We'll have to wait and see what next year holds for the Youngs.
