I thought I was not doing such a good job with my new year's resolution to memorize scripture, I wasn't sitting down with my index cards like I had pictured doing. But I realized about a week ago that these 2 verses have been stuck in my head. I read them in devotions, I hear them from others, and I think God has put these 2 verses on my heart for some reason. I'm not sure if there is a connection between the two that I haven't realized yet, or not. But I am happy to say that I can recite them on my own- yeah me!
If nothing, I think the Hebrews verse was put on my heart to share with others, especially those going through tough times. It's something we all need to remember- to take refuge in Him because He will never leave us and He will never forsake us.
