We went over to our house yesterday in the pouring down rain and trudged through ALOT of mud to get back to the house. I'm telling you, there was a lot of slipping and sliding in 4 wheel drive. Things are really starting to come together and I took a couple of pictures to share. The first is our front door- you have to understand that I LOVE our front door. It took over 3 hours to pick it out when I was 36 weeks preggo with Luke. So, it's near and dear to my heart. I went through a lot of find the perfect one. I wish you could see the light fixtures better, I love them too!
I took some pictures of our stairs as well. They are all done, except for the staining of course, but I only took pictures of the set in the foyer. I'm really happy with the way they look. It's so neat to see everything coming together and to see our house look more and more like a home everyday.
This is the view from the den. In this light, our walls look green but I assure you they are not. Aren't they pretty? The scrolls make them!

I love it! I love how the upstairs balcony is 2-sided--you can see from front door and den! I know you are counting the days now--what is it like 30 or 60? First part of May--or end? Wa-hoo!
Fabulous, Dahling, Simply Fabulous!! The door is just magnificent. I like the pattern in the stair rails. It's all coming together so beautifully.
