Let me tell you what I do...NOTHING! Poor little Luke has a double ear infection and then yesterday he started running a fever and threw up twice. I'm not really sure what all of that is about, but I can guarantee you that I haven't been able to get anything done around the house. It's not like I'm a clean freak, in fact I'm far from it, but I at least try to pick up
some. Luke, however, has other plans for me and they include me holding him alot. He isn't really eating much, so he isn't spending much time in his high chair either. So, where am I going with all of this. Well... it all leads back to me dirty little secret. What's my dirty little secret, you may be wondering. Well, let me introduce you to...(drum roll please)...my KITCHEN! I know, GASP! It's horrible. My dishwasher needs to be unloaded and reloaded, dishes in the sink need to be washed. The list goes on and on and on. So, once Luke was finally settles down for a good little nap, I let Brett wath some Noggin and I decided to get busy.

It only took me 20 minutes to go from that to this. Of course, this is only one side of the kitchen- OUCH! You mean there's more counters that look like this? Yes, my friends. Our kitchen looks like a bomb went off. Our island is the worst. It's our catch-all for EVERYTHING. I'm talking coupons, scrapbook paper, hard wood floor samples, tools, receipts, toys, I could go on and on.

This pretty little kitchen here makes me feel so good though. It's calm and serene-two things I desperately need in my life with 3 little ones. I just wonder how long my dirty little secret will stay clean? Usually, it's not long.
Want to see another one of my dirty little secrets? Check back tomorrow for part 2- exciting, huh? I'm curious though, if you've taken the time to actually read this- what's your dirty little secret? Do tell and share pictures!

My dirtly little secret is DEFINITELY my ironing. I am a neat freak and am NOT happy unless my house is in order---it has been out of hand lately with the remodeling, but I am trying to stay on top---however when it comes to my ironing---I DON"T DO IT!!! I HATE it!!!! I let it pile up and pile up until I can't look at the pile anymore and then I shove the clothes in a box and hide it and start the pile all over...i'm not joking--I'll post a pic on my blog...YES, that's it My DIRTY little secret!!
