Valentine's Day Fun

I'm so behind in posting some of these pictures but still wanted to share some of the fun things we did to celebrate Valentine's Day. (Take note: some of these pictures are before the kids got dressed for the day.) Valentine's Day was a good excuse to put away our regular school work and have a fun day of school- that, of course, included baking cupcakes! I can find ANY reason to bake some cupcakes.

Luke is putting stickers on his V is for Valentine's Day sheet. Looks simple and non- school related but this helps little ones learn how to hold a pencil by developing their "pincher grip"

Brett and Luke worked together on reading (Brett) the numbers (1-20) and then recognizing (Luke) the number on the mailboxes.

Measuring with conversation hearts (way too easy for Ella, but she enjoyed it!

Now...on to the FUN stuff!

A few of their finished cupcakes...let's just say my kids are a little crazy about sprinkles!
