I did not fall off the face of the Earth

Promise. I'm still here, just having a rough couple of days. All 3 of the kids were sick last week and OH MY GOODNESS. Have you ever had to deal with 3 sick kids at one time? I don't recommend it. There was one point when all 3 were trying to climb in my lap and all I kept thinking was, "Calgon, take me away!" and then I started thinking, "It's 7:00, when is Michael coming home? If he doesn't get home soon I'm gonna...." Oops- maybe I shouldn't tell you what I REALLY was thinking (wink, wink)

The beginning of the week started off ok, but I got a phone call yesterday from Ella's school saying that she wasn't feeling well again and was running a fever. You gotta be kidding me! We just got her off her antibiotics and she was doing great. I guess the poor thing's immune system was down and she picked up another nasty bug. Brett is also running a fever again. So, for the second week in a row, I missed church. I'm an Acteens leader and I hate it when I have to miss, but right now we are doing a Beth Moore study and you have to understand that I heart Beth Moore and hate missing the study! To make matters worse, Michael didn't make it home until after 8:30 last night. It's been a rough week and a half. I'm trying to hang in there, but I'm not gonna lie- IT IS HARD! I love my children more than life itself, but man there are some days when I just don't know how to handle all of the stress that comes along with raising 3 kids 5 and under. We are heading back to the doctor today and praying for a good report!

Marji,
I can tell you as a mother of three those days are hard and I dreamed of many calgon days.I have had both boys and Rob home with the chickenpox at the same time and let me tell you I would take a sick child over a grown man being sick any day.LOL! Just remember when you look back that even when they were sick there was something about it to make you smile and laugh. Besides when they are grown you will be able to get your revenge with the grandbabies. I hope you have a blessed day.
