One of our last units for the school year was on Pirates. The kids really got into learning all about pirates and their boats, flags, way of life, etc. It was a lot of fun and I have to say that I actually learned a lot too. We ended the unit with a trip to the State Museum to see the pirate exhibit. Loads of fun!
