I absolutely love this picture of Ella reading to her brothers. I need to blow it up and hang it in the house somewhere so that when I'm having one of those REALLY stressful days I can look up and remember that this is why I homeschool my children. There are moments of peace in the house and the kids are each other's best friends-love that!
We are still cooking every Thursday and the kids are really enjoying it. This was probably their least favorite item we've made so far. I think they like all the sweets and snacks better, wouldn't you?
The recipe was quinoa with vegetables, but we had to substitute rice for the quinoa.
End result- I thought it tasted pretty good!

I love the picture of the kids reading....I like Brett holding on to that Wii game like, "as soon as this is done...it's time for my game!" lol!
