Since I was a Spanish minor in college, it came naturally to teach the children Spanish during school. They seem to really like learning words in another language. I also teach Spanish at our homeschool Co-op, so they have to listen to me quite often. Bless 'em. Anyway, we have done MANY different things to learn spanish words and phrases. Our latest adventure is a program called Speekee. They are videos we watch online and have printable worksheets for the kids to do afterwards. They love the videos, although at first they weren't so sure about them. I hear them singing songs from Speekee all the time and it cracks me up. I also enjoy the 15 minutes of free time is gives me to do some work around the house!
Have I mentioned yet that we do a cooking class every Thursday? LOL! Here we are making Zuchinnin Muffins. It made me a little nervous to let Ella use the grater. If you've ever cut your finger on one of these things, you understand why.Always the class clown.
