In our pursuit of trying to find something fun to do with the kids on the weekend, we were led to the Joanna Festival. Ok- truth be told, we went for lunch and knew the kids would have a ball playing outside. The kids had a great time. They played in the jump houses, slid down inflatable slides, had their faces painted and yes my dear friends, we even participated in the "Chicken Drop". Only in SC will you be able to find a gambling game where the winner is determined by what number the chicken poops on...seriously. I can't make this stuff up!
And this.....this is Furball aka Bugs aka Thumper aka Easter Supper (that was the phrase coined by Michael). We were SO NOT planning on going to a festival and then coming home with yet one more four-legged animal to take care of and feed, but that's just the way it ended up. Ella cannot leave this cute little bunny alone. She can hardly walk by his cage without grabbing him out to love on him. Not a day goes by that I don't catch her with him in her lap while she's doing herr silent reading. He really isn't much trouble, but I could live without cleaning his cage so much. So, the bunny makes our 7th pet. (3 labs, 1 beagle, 2 cats and ol' Thumper). We are just your typical Funny Farm, I mean Animal Farm.
