Glimpses inside our house

Our house has come a long way since I posted pictures last. They ae just about done painting, so we went over there last night to check everything out. I was really curious to see how my wall colors were going to look at night.
I must add a disclaimer first: If you don't already know this about me, I'm a color person- big time! I love color everywhere- so don't be too shocked! Ok, now that I've gotten that out of the way, let the fun begin...

This is my craft room- the most important room in the house, right? I love this color and I can't wait to see it once mhy cabinets are put in!
OH, I forgot I added this in. This is the tile in our shower in the master bathroom. Notice the ad for Pepsi? lol!

This is our fireplace in the den. The rock work is complete and I think the wall color is perfect. It's very warm and just what I was going for. I think the flash on my camera gave it a cooler tone though.

This is Miss Ella's room. It's done in a soft green and very pretty. Her bedding is shabby chic with greens and pinks. She, of course, is wanting to know where her polka dots are. I don't know where that came from. I've never heard her say she wants polka dots, but have you ever tried to reason with a 5 year old? Really, try telling her that it doesn't 'go' with shabby chic.

This is Luke's room upstairs. He's going to start out in the nursery downstairs with Michael and me. I took this picture though because this is the main neutral color throughout the house- same color as the den.

This is Brett's room. In this picture, it looks baby blue. I promise you it's not. The name of the color is Gunmetal and it had a beautiful gray undertone to it. He was excited, but had to remind mommy that he wanted dark blue like on SuperFriends. Those of you with young boys will most likely know who I'm talking about.

Our dining room- I love it! I was a littel nervous about the color but I absolutely love it! It looks so great coming off of the kitchen.

Here's the kitchen. This is the only room where the walls aren't done. We are doing a Tuscan finish on the walls and that hasn't been done yet.

Ahhhh, my laundry room. I know, you think I'm nuts for putting this apple green in my house, but let me tell you now- I don't care! I love it and I'm the one that will be spending countless hours in here washing clothes. Michael was a real trooper about it too. He hasn't complained about it not even one time. I think he's realized that I need it to be a happy plpace if I have to be in it all the time!

Last but not least is our garage door. Yeah! We finally have it up and I even got to push the button last night to open and close it. The little things like this make me so happy. It's amazing how much our house is looking like a home. Now, if we could just get our cabinets done...

It is really coming along, Marji! All of your colors are great! Do you have a move-in date in mind?
