When oh when is move-in day coming?

I must start today with explaining that my lack of blogging is due to 3 sick kids- STILL SICK. Can you believe it? No one had luck liek I do. Ella got sent home from school on Wed and Brett ran a fever most of the day. Needless to say, we missed church again and Michael didn't even make it home until after 8:30 that night. We, luckily, already had a doctor's appointment for Thursday to get Ella's lungs re-checked from her pneumonia. So off I went with 3 kids to the doc's office AGAIN for the 2nd time in a week. This lovely trip to the office concluded with Ella and the flu, BRett and a double ear infection and poor little Luke is still getting over his bronchitis. (Read: feel sorry for me, pray for me and bring me a drink!)
So, what's a gal to do when she is home ALL DAY LONG with 3 SICK KIDS? Well pack of course. I'm thinking of a better day when we will move into our new house and won't have all of our stuff right here everywhere I look. (Read: I'm doing my best to stay positive here). My goal for Friday was to pack up all the toys in the den. Yes, ALL the toys. Now before you gasp and think I'm a horrible mom, let me invite you into our house to check out my kiddos' rooms. Trust me, they have plenty of toys in there to keep them busy until we move. So, here are the results...
I still have a couple of random things in the den that need to be packed, but I'm working on it. One day at a time.
While packing does get me excited about moving, all the boxes are driving me nuts! They are everywhere and take up a lot of room. Again, I'm trying to stay positive. Packing means we'll be moving sooner rather than later and Michael is trying to take a full truck load as often as he can.

I feel like I'm making alot of progress and then I see this... This is my craft area/computer desk/MESS. I've packed up A LOT of my craft stuff, but I still have a long way to go. I can't pack up my Stampin' Up! stuff because I'm still teaching classes. I also can't pack up several things because of the card ministry I'm involved in at church. So, I really don't know how much longer I have to look at all of this. Maybe until...*gasp* move-in day!?! It wouldn't be so bad if this wasn't right at our back door, the door everyone chooses to come to for some strange reason, and it kind of, well, smacks you in the face when I answer the door. I know people think I am an absolute slob and that couldn't be further from the truth. Granted I'm not a clean freak either but I do like some sort of order and I have NONE of that in my life right now. Ok, I guess I'm done venting for the day.
I hope you are having a great Valentine's Day. I'm still home with 3 sick kids and my hubby has been at work all day. I haven't even seen him yet.

You're gonna need to post real pictures of your whole house, and the rooms. I would never attempt to build a house b/c I'm too fickle and Greg and I would divorce, but I LOVE seeing how the heck other people do it!!
