"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11
I'm still working on memorizing scripture. (See this post HERE) I've joined a Thursday night bible study with some girls from church and we are trying to memorize scripture every week, so this is really helping me with my new year's resolution.
I picked this verse for no particular reason except for the fact that it's a well known verse and I didn't know it as well as I should. So off I went to memorize it. It's very easy to remember and I had no idea that it would be the same verse that our Sunday School teacher would be sending to us in an email to let us know she will be moving in about a month. WHAT??? I was heartbroken. I heart our teacher. She is absolutely wonderful and has really put a strong desire in my heart to learn more and become closer to God. I hate to see her leave, but I know this is all in God's plan for her life as well as ours. Who knew what significane this verse was to hold when I picked it to memorize?

That is one of my favorite scriptures. I gave Drew a cross with that scrip on it.
Love you,
