Ahhh, the many joys of spring

My little slugger...

Springtime in our household means it's time to gear up for baseball....well, technically weeball, T-ball, and men's softball. It also means 6 games a week in addition to our already hectic schedule of homschool, girl scouts, church, choir, dance, gymnastics, etc, etc.
Brett has made such HUGE strides this year. We are so proud of him! It's amazing how much can happen/change in just 1 year with a little boy. I can remember this time last year when he was still pretty content to just play in the dirt in the outfield.

Not this year. He is all "game face ON" for every game. I love it! He has an awesome coach and has learned so much about the game it just blows me away. I love to see him so excited over sports.

This is their teams 'ritual,' the coach always has a little pow-wow with them after the game and reminds them how great they did and they will do even better next time. He also leads them in prayer before most games.
